Melanie Ho's award-winning debut book BEYOND LEANING IN has been acclaimed by Kirkus Reviews as “an engaging evolution of Sheryl Sandberg’s ‘Lean In’ mantra" and is a recipient of the 2022 Axiom Business Book Awards.
As a frequent keynote speaker and workshop facilitator, she leads sessions on topics that include: women in leadership; diversity, equity, and inclusion; the future of education; and the use of creativity and the arts in business. She is also the founder of Strategic Imagination, a firm dedicated to drawing on the power of the imaginative arts (i.e., comics, theater, fiction) to help organizations achieve transformational change.
Melanie previously served as a Senior Vice President and GM of Research at EAB Global, an education advisory, technology, and services firm headquartered in Washington, DC. She led a team of over a hundred researchers that provided management advice to more than 1500 educational institutions worldwide, including at 90% of the U.S. News Top 100 Universities.
Prior to her twelve years at EAB, Melanie taught at UCLA while earning her Ph.D. in English. She currently resides in Washington, DC.

Interview with Kvon Tucker

Kvon is the Co-Founder and CEO of Consciously, a purpose-driven firm that helps executives and organizations do work with more purpose.Until early this year, Kvon was the Global Head of Manager and Leadership Development at Google. Part of his job at Google involved coaching top executives to be better leaders as they help grow the company.
Before Google, Kvon worked at Amazon and Netflix, where he also coached leaders on how to adapt to hyper-growth and tremendous scale. Kvon has also had the opportunity to coach Apple, Tesla, Facebook/Meta, and LinkedIn executives.
He holds a Master’s in Industrial-Organizational Psychology (M.S. I-O) and is a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC).

Sarah is a recovering perfectionist and a serial burnout-overachiever. Over time and to cope, she studied methods to manage her severe anxiety through yoga and dance. She started to foster a deeper connection to her mind and body. At the same time, she also began to apply the human-centered, design thinking methods she used to facilitate business problem solving to her personal questions. The more she practiced these evidence-based methods, the more they worked their magic as a catalyst for her as well as her teams and organizations!
Sarah now shares her way of working to manage and recover from burnout with the world through Dreamgarten. She believes that when you guide people to find what’s inside themselves and encourage them to think about the human at the center of any problem, the creativity they bring to solving those problems is endless.
Sarah spent 17 years of her career at Accenture and holds an MBA in Information Technology from American University as well as multiple certifications for teaching mindfulness practices and design thinking.
