https://fitbeyondforty.life/“Am I going to make it?”This was the main thought going through my head as I held my daughter in my arms for the first time. I was 43 years old… I was obese, had high blood pressure, pre-diabetic, painful chronic inflammation, low testosterone and the list goes on and on. I worked too many hours at my corporate job and even though I believed I was mostly doing the right things with regards to my health, I just kept getting sicker. The doctors prescribed medication, surgery and advice like “watch your sugar.” None of that made me better.I knew I needed to make a change. Over the years I’d tried dozens of diets and workout programs with varied levels of success. I tried Atkins, juice cleanses, Paleo, Keto, P90x, insane cardio, HCG (that one worked REALLY WELL… until I stopped then POOF – I ballooned again!) After all of those years of struggle, there I sat… fatter and in worse health than ever.I was imagining a future where I might not be around to see my daughter graduate from college, or walk down the aisle, or even meet my grandkids! And even if I were blessed enough to still be around for these moments in the future, what version of me would be there for her? Would I be able to walk the aisle without losing my breath? Would I be able to take the grandkids to Disney without riding around on a scooter? Could I travel with my family anywhere in the world without them having to “give me special attention”? Or worse… Would I be dependent on her to take care of me?I understood that my future depended solely on what I did right now. But up to this point… everything I’d tried had failed. Over the next three years, I experimented with different tactics before finally discovering how to not only get into the best shape of my life, but to MAINTAIN it forever. That was the key.I reversed every negative health condition, lost the weight and increased my self-confidence. Maybe the natural testosterone boost had a little something to do with the confidence boost as well! I have more energy and focus. And most importantly, I KNOW that I’m doing everything in my power to be the best husband and father I can be. I plan to be here and healthy for a long, long time.My passion now is helping others to achieve lasting health and freedom from preventable weakness and chronic disease. I’ve shared my techniques with hundreds of people, and I know that ANYONE can reach their health and fitness goals with the right direction and commitment.

There’s no question that we have a clutter problem here in the U.S., consider these statistics:
1 out of every 10 Americans rent off site storage - the fastest growing segment of commercial real estate industry over the past four decades.
We spend one year of our lives looking for lost items.
U.S. consumers buy 40% of the world’s toys, but bear only 3% of the world’s children.
The 7 Emotional Blocks to Why We Can’t Let Go of Our Stuff, which include:
My stuff keeps me in the past
My stuff tells me who I am
The stuff I'm avoiding
My fantasy stuff for my fantasy life
I'm not worth my good stuff
Trapped with other people's stuff
The stuff I keep paying for
Living with Less. Aspiring to be a minimalist is a great goal but difficult to obtain. Tracy shares the first steps to living with less stuff.
How living with clutter directly impacts our health and wellness.

Michael and Chris talk about workplace culture, and what makes a good leader (and what doesn't.) Hint: A pizza lunch won't make your employees happy they work for your organization.
For over 20 years, Chris has worked with organizations as large as Wal-Mart, and as small as startups. He has worked with almost every industry and level of leadership, from the entry level employee to the chairman of the board.
HR Sanity was created to destroy the universal myth that Human Resources has to function as a second class department within the ecosystem of an organization. We work with you to replace costly practices with streamlined processes, decreases your Human Resource cost, and improve ineffective management with transformational leadership coaching.

Featured Interview with Jennifer Rock and Michael Ross
Wednesday Nov 20, 2019
Wednesday Nov 20, 2019
Jennifer Rock and Michael Voss are corporate communications experts, turned business humor writers, who spent two decades careening through corporate America and barely lived to write about it. Having worked with some of Minnesota’s largest and most dynamic companies, including Best Buy and Cargill, Jennifer and Michael’s 40+ years of corporate work experiences inspired and helped shaped many of the story lines and characters found in their books. Their latest book Operation Clusterpuck was released in November 2018, published by Wise Ink Publishing. Genres: Business / Fiction / HumorOperation Clusterpuck tells the funny, cynical but heartfelt story of Business Solutions, Inc. (BSI) — a U.S. corporation whose leaders have set in motion a series of disastrous projects that threaten to take the company down. BSI’s ragtag communications team once again gets pressed into action, juggling around-the-clock workloads, battling ruthless execs, and struggling to find meaning in their lives outside of work. “We wanted to tell the story of those unsung corporate heroes — the ones who are barely keeping their heads above water, but still do the right thing for their work ‘family,’ even when it’s not easy,” says coauthor Jennifer Rock. “Readers often tell us they recognize themselves and their co-workers in our novels,” adds coauthor Michael Voss. “We’re thrilled to reflect their work lives and experiences. Even if our stories might feel like a fun-house mirror.”
