Leadership expert Sally Helgesen and bestselling leadership coach Marshall Goldsmith have trained thousands of high achievers—men and women—to reach even greater heights. Again and again, they see that women face specific and different roadblocks from men as they advance in the workplace. In fact, the very habits that helped women early in their careers can hinder them as they move up. Simply put, what got you here won’t get you there . . . and you might not even realize your blind spots until it’s too late.Sally Helgesen, cited in Forbes as the world’s premier expert on women’s leadership, is a best-selling author, speaker and leadership coach. For 30 years her mission has been to help women recognize, articulate and act on their greatest strengths and help organizations build more inclusive cultures. She has been named Number 18 on the Global Gurus list of top leadership experts and selected as MEECO’s International Thought Leader in Cultural Transformation for 2019.Sally’s most recent book, How Women Rise, co-authored with legendary executive coach Marshall Goldsmith, examines the behaviors most likely to get in the way of successful women as they seek to move to a higher level. It became the top-seller in its field within a week of publication and rights have been sold in 12 languages.Previous books include The Female Advantage: Women’s Ways of Leadership, hailed as the classic in its field and continuously in print since 1990, and The Female Vision: Women’s Real Power at Work, which explores how women’s strategic insights can strengthen their careers. The Web of Inclusion: A New Architecture for Building Great Organizations, was cited in The Wall Street Journal as one of the best books on leadership of all time and is credited with bringing the language of inclusion into business practice.https://sallyhelgesen.com/

https://confidentstages.com/The #1 most powerful factor to gain the winning edge over the competition is to speak confidently, powerfully, and charismatically in all situations. Excellent leaders are excellent speakers.75% of business presentations fail primarily due to inadequate presentation training.
Especially in today’s world of business where generational expectations vary extensively, consistently and powerfully inspiring top results from stakeholders, clients, and associates demands that leaders be masterful at presenting concepts, plans, and processes not only with words, but through deliberate movement, body language messages, and very importantly, vocal finesse.
Rosemarie Barnes is a highly qualified trainer who understands the difficulties of connecting to, inspiring, and leading multi-generational colleagues and audiences. Mere words are never enough. Rosemarie is one of very few presentation coaches with the expertise to train clients in all aspects of the skills needed to consistently get the big Yes.

I'm a L.E.A.F. Certified Practitioner with a deep passion to bring out the best in any individual, team, community, or system. You can learn more about my facilitation training at RecoveryFacilitation.comMy recovery story started in 2005 when I was arrested. At 22 years old, I was looking at spending many years of my life in federal prison due to my addiction to heroin, cocaine, and prescription opioids. Facing serious consequences for my actions, I started to change my daily habits and get serious about my recovery. I eventually invested in a life coach and began surrounding myself with mentors. This inspired me to transform from a life of addiction to one of fulfilling my purpose of becoming an Entrepreneur in Recovery™ and helping others to achieve their highest potential.I recently published my first book, Smash Your Comfort Zone with Cold Showers. In my book, you'll learn about...• Why you should give cold showers a try• The research-backed advantages of cold showers• How to overcome unwanted habits• How to increase self-discipline and develop self-confidence• How to conquer anxiety and reduce depression, and…• How you can change your story by shattering self-imposed barriers. This book is about much more than turning a handle while bathing. Smash Your Comfort Zone with Cold Showers is about reclaiming your life, your recovery, your self-confidence, and your potential.

Interview with Jesse Walker

Monday Dec 16, 2019
https://fitbeyondforty.life/“Am I going to make it?”This was the main thought going through my head as I held my daughter in my arms for the first time. I was 43 years old… I was obese, had high blood pressure, pre-diabetic, painful chronic inflammation, low testosterone and the list goes on and on. I worked too many hours at my corporate job and even though I believed I was mostly doing the right things with regards to my health, I just kept getting sicker. The doctors prescribed medication, surgery and advice like “watch your sugar.” None of that made me better.I knew I needed to make a change. Over the years I’d tried dozens of diets and workout programs with varied levels of success. I tried Atkins, juice cleanses, Paleo, Keto, P90x, insane cardio, HCG (that one worked REALLY WELL… until I stopped then POOF – I ballooned again!) After all of those years of struggle, there I sat… fatter and in worse health than ever.I was imagining a future where I might not be around to see my daughter graduate from college, or walk down the aisle, or even meet my grandkids! And even if I were blessed enough to still be around for these moments in the future, what version of me would be there for her? Would I be able to walk the aisle without losing my breath? Would I be able to take the grandkids to Disney without riding around on a scooter? Could I travel with my family anywhere in the world without them having to “give me special attention”? Or worse… Would I be dependent on her to take care of me?I understood that my future depended solely on what I did right now. But up to this point… everything I’d tried had failed. Over the next three years, I experimented with different tactics before finally discovering how to not only get into the best shape of my life, but to MAINTAIN it forever. That was the key.I reversed every negative health condition, lost the weight and increased my self-confidence. Maybe the natural testosterone boost had a little something to do with the confidence boost as well! I have more energy and focus. And most importantly, I KNOW that I’m doing everything in my power to be the best husband and father I can be. I plan to be here and healthy for a long, long time.My passion now is helping others to achieve lasting health and freedom from preventable weakness and chronic disease. I’ve shared my techniques with hundreds of people, and I know that ANYONE can reach their health and fitness goals with the right direction and commitment.
